I bought a cheapie from Harbor Freight - 40# pressurized. It's doing the job - my initial problems were that I was using fine sand from Home Depot and it's not graded for sand blasting, but it's cheap. Just run it through a piece of window screen attached to a funnel while filling the blaster - you'll be cursing if you don't. I don't know how many times I had to shut down and clean out a large particle of sand until I smartened up. The biggest negative to the blaster is that the "gun" consists of a chrome plated brass 3/8" ball valve that doesn't last very long - you can't throttle with it - it eats up the body, seats and ball. And a 3/8" valve isn't available at Home Depot, so I used a 1/2" and some bushings. And now that I'm getting more run time, the next thing is dry your air! As for a compressor - I have a 6.5 hp two stage with a 60 gal tank - it keeps up with it, but it runs constantly.
