Not too knowledgable about the value, but I'm really curious about your screen name. I take it, you're not a rabbi? I'm assuming that I won't get into a whole lot of trouble with this question? Meteor hit me with an ornery streak yesterday. Big thing about IH of that era is the troubles with the tranny and rear end. Too many horse for the gears to put up with. Same as with other tractor companies trying to keep up with the competition. Most of those I see in the shop are torn down for that reason- these are full-time farm tractors. Lighter use would mean a minimum of problems. Shifter was always a problem, there are short-line companies that had attachments for easier shifting.
