Now you have me curious..... An advertising brochure for Twin City from 1918 notes the Model 60 can make over 100 hp on engine, probably what we would call flywheel horsepower today. The model number -- 60 -- is the advertised belt horsepower. Also from 1918 catalogs are the Buffalo-Pitts 40-70, about the same size as the Twin City 60, from all appearances. An Aultman-Taylor 30-60 looks pretty big also. In about 1912, Hart-Parr had a huge tractor, the Model 60-100. This thing was the height of a two story house. With 100 advertised on belt, it had to have a engine horsepower of 120-125. My own guess is that the largest belt power tractor was made in the period of 1910-1918. Anyone know the advertised horsepower of a Holt (Caterpillar) Model 75?
