Photo Add Gone Bad

OK,you've sold your tractor in the Photo Adds,you get the deposit in the mail,cashed the check,no problem.The purchaser says he will be out in a month to pickup the tractor and pay the balance.Five months latter I get a call he will be in at 1:00 that afternoon,5:30 he rolls in with a story about getting lost,like it's my fault.Looks tractor over,likes what he sees,climbs in the cab and proceeds to kill the battery,on a six cylinder deisel thats been sitting since the deposit check cleared."Oh,you have to push kill switch in."
I climb in the cab push in kill switch,it fires right up.He climbs in reves her up,pulls her in gear and takes off,checking out powershift,third gear to forth reverse a couple of times,so far so good.Now he wants to road test her.Ten minutes later, he rolls in and number one cylinder is leaking at injecter,looks like neoprene "O" ring is now leaking.No big deal,everything works fine other than "O"ring.He loads her up chains her down and starts bi**hing about balance due,and tractor is not what he thought it would be.
Told him if he didn't want it,"back it off."No,No,he'll take it.He writes the check for the balance,and away he goes.
Last Friday,two weeks later,I get a call about no oil on dipstick in rear and radiator a quart low.Now he wants an adjustment on purchase price.He said he went to His local Deere dealer ,who must have seen him coming,and priced parts-He needs,six injectors,fifteen gallons of Hy-trans,needs trans filter and hydraulic filter.Wants an adjustment on price.
Yesterday,I got a letter that his check came back,INSUFFICIENT FUNDS CHECK RETURNED.Now I have to pay fees,the bad thing is he never had the money in the account to cover check,he didn't stop payment either,the check never was good,and he had the nerve to call a week after the check bounced and say he wanted an"adjustment."
What do you do with a "Slick Operator?"Now I don't have the tractor or the money and he's five states away!
P.S. The only reason I'm not posting his name is on advice from legal council.
