It all depends how big of a hurry you are in. We had the loader on our 544 hooked to the tractor hydralics and it took FOREVER to raise a bale up. Put on the 21 GPM pump and now the tractor can idle and move bales fast enough. Some of the Pumps are 21 GPM and some around 11 or 12GPM. The higher volume pump has about a 2 to 3" wide center section. Steven
