Tim..........would you believe that ALL ignition condensers are good for at least 100 volts? So not to worry 6 or 12 volt systems, condenser don't care. Oh yeah, ignition points, they don't care 6 or 12 volts eather. BUT ignition coils do care. 12 volt coils donnna work wurtha dang on 6 volts. 6 volt coils will work with a 12 to 6 volt converting resistor. That is NOT THE SAME AS a ballast resistor. Ballast resistors are magic and change resistance with tempature. Less resistance when cold for hotter sparkies when trying to start. Usually heat up to nominal operating resistance innna'bout 90 secs. Sometimes you have to use BOTH a 12-6 resistor AND the OEM ballast resistor, wired in series like flashlight batterys, with the OEM 6 volt coil in a 12 volt conversion. Best of all, is a real 12 volt coil on 12 volts. Real 12 volt coils DO NOT HAVE BUILT-IN RESISTORS, EVER....... Understand?.......Dell

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
