Mineral oil???? Most likely you have trans fluid in the clutch housing. If the tractor has a Multi-power then most likely the seal inside of the pto shaft that seals the fluid against the clutch shaft has gone bad. These are infamous for doing that. When replacing a clutch or other component that requires splitting the tractor, you should replace the seal. Don't buy just one..buy 3 or 4. Why? Simple: you may have to replace it several times before you get one that you have not torn during the install. The seal is thin and has a very small outside diameter compared to the inside diameter. I went to buy one for the last Massey I did and the parts man asked if I only want one. He recomended I take at least 2. I asked if they had a problem with them leaking and did they have a few more in stock. He left and returned a moment later with a shoe box full. He told me the worst one they did had to be replaced 5 times before they got it to seal. Sounds like fun to me. I got lucky on this job and it held the first time with no come backs.
