How well do post drivers work in hard clay? I have 5" x 7' creosote posts, and am not sure if they could be driven in the ground even with a point on the end of it. If it works, it sure would beat drilling, more accurate and no backfilling. A 3 pt 9" auger does not drill through my hard clay, even with 250 lbs added weight. I've seen hydraulic diggers on a front end loader work pretty good though.
