I had two dodges with a cummins, one auto, one stick. The auto won't take the lugging of the Cummins motor,(motor detuned to 215 hp),the stick was geared to low,no milage. The brakes needed replaced around 20000 miles, steering pulled to the right.Traded it for a Duramax, lot better engine, more power, better fuel economy, and the allison 5 speed. The Duramax rides better, stops a lot better, has a bigger rear end and frame than the dodge, and was a few hundred dolllars cheaper to trade for than a new Dodge.
