Here is the Deal. I just got a call from the Texas Auto Thieft place and they advised me that the owner had just taken steps to have the trailer removed from the stolen list. Thank God. They gave me a case # and their phone number and said that that would be helpful if I we're questioned by any law enforcement in my area. The owner just called after that call and said he was looking for the title still and he would send it as soon as possible. He is even faxing me the paper work that he used to get the trailer taken off of the stolen list. This guy has been great. I feel really lucky about this. I guess as lucky as I could feel considering I was standing in the registration office yesterday with a stolen trailer attached to my name. The owner never filed the trailer on his insurance so I'm just waiting on him to find the title now.
