International 454 gas tractor

I have a 454 International tractor that someone damaged the draft control valve. The valve has visible damage on the poppit valve and multiple other plungers and valves within the valve. Is it possible to disconnect the input shaft from the top link to the draft control valve to disable the draft control system? I only need the 3 point hitch to raise and lower properly, but, I don't need the draft control system. If it is not possible to disconnect this valve, does anyone have a used DCV? If so, e-mail me and I will return your message. Any help is well appreciated.
