Doug, I'm replying to your message on the 454 tractor. I've only recently purchased the tractor. However, the tractor seems to be sturdily made. The hydraulic system is fairly complex if you have problems with it. So, if you purchase one, make sure the lift lowers and raises properly. I paid $4850 for the tractor that included a 6' finishing mower. I'm located in western Pa. I think I'll be happy with the tractor once I get all the bugs worked out.
