Need more info. What kind of planting? Row crop? Broadcast? Vegetables? Do you intend to pull a plow, cultivator, and/or planter?
5 acres is not a lot of land to plant and you can probably do it easily with a decent size compact (30 hp) if you soil is fairly easily workable. Then just choose between JD, Kubota, New Holland, etc. etc. That will be a decision based on how much you want to spend, what color you like best, and if there is a local dealer you want to work with. There are also lots of older farm tractors to be had that would do the job.
