If the rest of the tractor is in order go for it. They are a superb little tractor. Your dealer is'nt in business to sell you parts for a 40 yrs old tractor - he wants to sell you a new one I'm restoring a 62 Dexta, and in the UK parts are usually easy to get. If you have any problems post a message for Burrhead on the Fordson page , I'm sure he, as well as anyone else who subscribes will help and support you.
