We went from a carburetor kit to a battery to a
coil. The battery was very weak so we replaced it. We were told the coil was burned. So we got a new coil but the coil we put on it melted! What could've caused this??!! Could this have happened from charging a battery with battery cables using a 12 volt battery? The tractor battery is only a 6 volt. We will install the coil this weekend, and see what now. Anyone have any suggestions that can help. That is besides taking it in to have it repaired! We would really appreciate it. Thanks,
