Six Volt Radio

I have a Ford 961 Powermaster with the wide front that I use for mowing a couple hundred acres each summer. I just decided I need a radio on the tractor, probably with an ear phone connection because the tractor and mower can be pretty loud. Does anyone know of a source for modern six volt radios? I think the modern radios without tubes will give better service than an antique radio from this Ford era. If anyone has some experience and/or advice in adapting a modern radio to the older tractors I would appreciate the input.
