Sticky lifters ?

A gy work his car just started to have a lifter nock then this weakend he drove it on a short trip at about 60 to 70 MPH and now the lifter noise is gonehe has about 100,000 miles on it now to my question what can he add to the oil to help free up the lifter without posible creating a big oil leak and what is you sugestion what about Marvel Mistery oil thanks for all help Rod MI
