CAs were the last in the B, C line. They had 4 speeds instead of 3, more power, power shift rear wheels and most had a clutch in the rear axle on one side that in effect gave them live pto and hydraulics. The hydraulics was imporved over the C and I think most had the snap couple hitch. The CA is a fine tractor, I would prefer it over a Cub and Super A. I am somewhat biased as I am an orange guy, but if you look at the tractors you are thinking of you will probably come the the same conclusion. Just make sure the one you are looking at has a good boot on the shift lever. AC can get water in the transmission if the boot goes bad. Not usually the end of the world, but something to be aware of. If everything works and sounds good, just change all the oils, including the final drives, when you get the tractor.
