Congrats, Dave, like to see people get a good deal! I too fell into situation without warning, the wifes aunt is eighty some, and the wife has been "kinda" taking care of her and her husband for about a year now, like taking her shoping etc, now has progressed to doing the shoping....the other day the question was asked if I would be interested in all the tools, both his and hers. Well, the business that they were in was welding, when they sold out 'he' kept a "few" tools for his own use, such as sockett sets combination wrenches, boxs full of assorted hand tools, a 225 amp lincoln line welder, bench grinder, portable air compressor with accessories, etc: 'she' had woodworking tools- squares, hand planes,electric miter saw, usual household stuff-electric staplers and such, drills, indexs, you name it. Suggested to the wife between a thousand and fifteen hundred would be a fair price. When the dust settled, and I got up off the floor, they would not take a penny over TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS! said it was all "old used stuff"! Have hauled two loads home already, one more to go! Guess who is going to cut the grass and look after the yard, for them? you bet!!! Have a gooder, R.E.L.
