When I bought my Bushog brand 6 ft cutter some years ago, the dealer told me that the clutch was set at the factory and didn't need any adjustment. I think I have had it about 6 or 7 years and it is working fine. If you have a new cutter rather than used, I wouldn't think that it would need adjusting. If it's used, then maybe. Check with your dealer or post your brand and model of cutter and maybe someone will have a manual. Good luck.
