I'm not dissin amz-oil, just bringing up facts pertaining to my situation. I still haven't found a legal way to circumvent the mfgrs warranty requirements pertaining to oil change intervals (per previous post). This makes syn oils very costly to use. I thought of using syn oil in my Dodge/Cummins truck engine but with petro oil these engines last around 300K miles before a major is needed, by then the chassis and body is spent anyway so I can't justify the expense of syn oil for my situation. At the stated 5K mile oil change interval that's 60 oil changes X (approx) $16 per qt.=$11,520 vs $1,260 for petro oil. Everyone is free to choose, and I choose not to. As a friend once said "your rights stop at the end of my nose, and vica-versa."
