It is terrible to hear about such tragedies, but people do not respect/realize the size, speed or braking abilities of farm equipment. I have spoken here once before about the indifference people have about farm equipment. People cutting me off. Or passing me on the right side while (I had been making on to the street for the local elevator) a turn with 3 gravity boxes loaded with wet corn (about 75,000lbs) behind me. This young lady had a small car and a baby in a car seat. She was pulling out from in front of a local bar and grill. My front tire and front weight missed her by inches. I still get cold when I think about it.
