#1 daughter once made cookies and took the last of the dough to make a "big cookie." It was forgotten in the over until the smoke detector reminded her that it was probably done enough. #1 son seized the opportunity and plastic wrapped the "carbon cookie" to show anyone who came by what a marvelous baker his sister was. Over a year later, our local Christian School was holding a fund-raiser auction and Jason donated that cookie. Annalisa's cookie brought in over $80. Sometimes, auctions take on a life of their own.
