6-71's topped out at hp.238, 8-71's topped out at 318hp. But the 8-92's at 475hp.-had power. I've driven all of them in trucks and fixed them. Some people complain about them always leaking oil. I never found it that hard to stop the leaks. Newest truck that I've seen an 8v71 in was a 1980 Ford Louis. tractor
