Just wondering, are you POSITIVE that you know what the housing is made out of? Some of the ones I've seen have been made out of pot metal which is another story to repair altogether I think. Also, why not let us know what kind of tractor it's from, I'll bet somebody here has a housing and they'd cut you a good deal ... that's a sad (but too often heard) story. Do you think the guy that sold it to you knew it was broken? Maybe not ... maybe call him and he'll see fit to work out a deal with you.
