There's all so "ground speed" PTO. The PTO runs through the transmission so that if the tractor is moveing, the PTO runs, if you speed up, the PTO speeds up all so. If you put the tractor in reverse, the PTO turns back wards! The idea for this type of PTO, was to run a spreader (seed, lime, or fertilizer) that would spread more as you sped up, and stop running when the tractor stops. I find this to be very usefull to slowly turn my baler back wards to unplug it, it was all so handy to help "unwind" the 60 feet of garden hose that dad wound into my Rotavator one day!! :) Robert
