Incredibly well said. As to our local politicians, all are non native to the area, and as has been stated, the numbers speak. Right now, the site of the local Ag youth fair(FFA and 4H, ect.)is being revamped into volleyball and soccer arenas. the farm museum is also being squeezed out, despite the fact that the land(83acres) it sets on was donated 30 years ago for the express purpose of a museum and youth park for ag. Every suburb around here has sports fields, but NONE has showbarns and historic farming on display. Consumerism will destroy this country. And if anyone wants to know why our youth resort to drugs, consider this: Plano tx, which has lost many, many teens to heroin these last few years, is chock full of 300k houses, and six digit incomes; trouble is, mom and dad are never home.
