I understand you're feelings. And that is what is happening to some extent. I'm from up North and plan to stay here. What the problem is is economic growth all the politicians want for their area. Well, what do you think is some of the by products of economic growth -- bigger and bigger cities and more and more complex lives with more and more unnecessary occupations and costs. The governor whats to bring more and more people into our state. I ask why??? Did he ever think that maybe we live here because we like it the way it is. What - do we need more of a tax base? I don't think so maybe just a simpler way of life with less overhead cost caused by all this "economic growth" - you have bills for everything even a bill for a certain kind of garbage can. Maybe the American family will go under like the American Farmer. I think people need to look at everything they use as drugs- don't get hooked on it and fuel the "ecomonic growth" that strangles our lifestyles. Landfills going full, throw away society (cheaply built tractors), everyone working too many hours, pollution, little leisure time, etc. Good consumer = Good economy.
