Sorry, I forgot that most of this country is done in sections. I'm in SE Pa, where 40 acres can have 20 different angles in the survey. The corners I referred to were other corners of the same property. I do understand that some of the new VERY sophisticated GPS stuff can pinpoint within a fraction of an inch. Which leads me to wonder why surveys cost so much.
If one of your neighbors recently had a survey, the surveyor probably already marked the necessary reference points to give him a start on what you want.
