I was just wondering how many acres of corn, wheat, soybeans, ect. to feed one dairy cow. From time to time I help my neighbor out with his herd of 20 holstine dairy cows. He normally plants about 100 acres of corn, 100 in beans, and 100 or more in wheat. I would like to know because I am thinking of getting a few dairy cows to start in the business. Live in Northeast Ohio. Ihave about 350 acres of land. What would I Need to grow to feed the cows?
