We are renting 42.something acres for around $40 an acre, which is a steal in our area. I have been interested in looking at some more acrage across the road but the large farm operation in our county is paying $80 an acre for it! I can't afford it due to me having to conventional till, they go in, no-till corn in the spring in one day. Later on come back and inject anydrous while cultivating in one day, and then in the fall, they combine it in one day!!! No wander they can pay $80 an acre for it, and our corn out yeilds theirs!!!
