I have a very strong interest in farmall tractors especially the crawlers. I've spent more time around steam traction engines but my grandfather who passed away along time ago collected farmall tractors. In someone's opinion what is the tractor to first start out with as far as simplicity, parts avalability and someone who has a great deal of knowledge. Maybe what I'm asking for is far fetched I don't know. But what I do know is that I have been reading this website for a short time now and what I've noticed is alot of people come here and the resources here are tremendous. I appreciate who ever takes the time to read this and respond to it. By the way I live in Illinois if that helps. Ryan
