If you think about this, you will realize that there are many, high draft implements which are 3 point or are at least semi-integral using the two lower links. My Semi-integral JD f145 4x14 plow hooks up to the tractor using those same lower links. Ask yourself: "Is a 4 bottom or 5 bottom plow a load or not?" Look at all of the "N" series Fords. Most of them pull their loads with exactly that set up. Yes you may need stabilizer bars to prevent excessive sway from side to side, but the tractor will pull with the draft arms on the 3 point just as well as it will from the drawbar.
