This has been a fairly common problem with the later v-8's. Sometimes the fix is as simple as retorquing the intake man. bolts, in other cases the intake itself has begun to corrode away. This is usually more prevalent on higher mileage vehicles that the antifreeze has not been changed or the use of bargain brand antifreeze. When you get your truck back and you have driven it a week or two retorque the intake, I'm sure you will find the bolts have loosened up.
