oil holes in rod bearings

I have a Farmall 350 Diesel tractor with Continental 190 engine and I have had it overhauled and it didn't run right so a diesel mechanic took it apart again and told me the rod bearings were supposed to have a oil hole in the top of them and the ones in there doesn't have.Can anyone out there tell me if these bearings are supposed to have an oil hole in the top or not.I can't find any with that hole.
