I once said that my tractors were an "investment" and someone asked what percent they were earning me each year, either in value or dividends. Nothing was all I could say. I've advertised a couple lately for the exact money I have in them and haven't got a single bite.

I'll invest in CD's when my time comes. A friend of mine is a whiz at the investment thing, I'll just take his advice when it comes time to diversify.

Tractors are NEVER an investment to make money from, just an investment in our past and future.
