Hey Phillip, I'm an RTV user whenever I can just gotta keep your head about you dont use too much, but the thing I wanted to bring to your attn. is whether or not the gaskets are required on the rear end housing to set bearing pre-load I dont know on a Cub put have seen the times where a gasket is not only used to seal but also as a shim.
