sure you can. If you are thinking of using a 12v radio you can use a step up transformer that will supply 12v to the radio in that it uses very low amps. Check with your auto parts store or maby radio shack. My daughter gave me one of those coolers that has the radio built it. I would not have thought of it but it works pretty good. Hey have fun with yer radio.
