I had just graduated from high school and started working at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works. I was lucky enough to still live at home for free, but worked for my Dad on the farm in trade.Right after I bought the 'Cuda for right at $ 4,000.00 ( about 1000hours of labor ) I bought another car ( a 1970 Charger 500 ) to drive and keep the 'Cuda nice. Owned many cars through the years and never had to drive the 'Cuda much or on winter roads. I did improve the engine by blueprinting, balancing, installing a 6-Barrel set-up and other internal and external upgrades. Had a few Corvettes in the mix. Loved every car out there and still do.
