I lived in Florida back in the mid 1980s. At that time, there was a yearly mandatory automobile inspection that was needed to renew your license plates. Among other things, they tested the aiming of the headlights. If they were not aimed properly, you failed the test and had to have a certified mechanic fix the problem and sign off on the repair.
I'm glad you were able to find LED lights for your truck, they are a nice addition. However, I must admit that I have a very hard time driving at night when the LED lights from oncoming vehicles are not properly aimed.
