No diabetes, had it checked. Bite was on my left thigh and left leg went numb for a few weeks. Dr diagnosed it as Sciatic nerve. Went to physical therapy for several sessions. Therapist said it didn't act like nerve problem as my pain was on the top of my leg and pains in other parts of my body. After the blood test being positive for lyme disease he understood why. The hot feeling in my feet is neuropathy caused by the disease and they don't know how long it will last. I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist but can't get in till Dec, 20th.
