Very few tractors are "unreliable" when brand new. Obviously this tractor is far from new. Even the 94 series is 40 years old. Obviously how the tractor was used and cared for in those 40 years are huge factors in its current reliability. Babied and maintained, or flogged and neglected... big swing there.
Keep in mind that tractors don't often get parked for no reason, and memories fade...
