Sorry, I did not see your first post abot this. My chains are for side to side stabilization on 3 point equipment.
On most tractors there are 2 holes you can put the top link in. If you put the link in the top position, you can out your chains in the bottom so you can more easily adjust the height of your mower. If you only have one hole, then you have ot use that one for both.
