Oh, and as for the input you got saying there should be a steady stream of oil to rockers, all I can say is WRONG! The center cam bearing has a slot that meters a squirt of oil every two engine revolutions......NO steady stream. If you really do have insufficient oil, the first place I would look is the grommet/packing at bottom of oil feed tube. Also on later tractor with similar engine, there was a bracket to hold that tube down so that it couldn't move up out of the seal. Early units didn't have it and it was recommended that it be added to early production engines. C3NN-6574-A
