I'm going to assume that you found these two numbers stamped into what is basically an otherwise blank tag. All the silk screening has been rubbed off over the years.
If that is the case, you can safely deduce that the 340 is the model number, because you are dealing with a "CL340" skid steer. The 2050 is going to be the machine serial number.
As they were only made for two or three years, there is probably no technical reason to know what year it was made. For parts changes, its usually a serial number break anyway, and you have that. Your curiosity may have to go unsatisfied on this.
