Apparently I am wrong. According to the manual TomIn posted, the rear plug (top left corner) is where your vent goes. See page 68 of the manual. Vent is called a Comer Vent. Your gear box is an OMNI but Land Pride is using a vent out of a Comer gearbox or one of similar style.
You probably need to reseal the top cover when you install the vent. If you continue to have problems, move the vent to the dipstick port and use the dipstick to check for oil level.
