Just bought this big piece of iron, it has 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gear but not the rest Forward gears and 1st & 2nd Reverse is also gone I m gathering (building) the gauge set for all C1, C2, B1, B2, B3, B4 & C3
To not have the gears I listed above make me believe the C1 is out - How big of job is that and maybe hints or suggestions
I Have the manuals and parts book but Transmissions always make me believe it s something I can t tackle but I m retired now and have the time to learn - I have most of the tools needed - just need someone that has tackled the 1984 JD 510 Backhoe before
