I have run into this at other dealers too. If I don't figure I will use all of whatever the part is in the future I go elsewhere for it. otherwise I just go with it. If I can get the part elsewhere. My dealer has been pretty good about parts for the most part. They are all getting finicky about parts for older stuff.I guess to some extent I can understand part of it also. Inventory costs money and they probably sit on over a million dollars worth of parts as it is per store. So to have a lot of parts setting around unsold costs a lot of money and fills up inventory fast. Not trying to stick up for them just trying to explain the whys and wheres of it. Even you local chain box stores have this issue.
