I've used black pepper when I was driving 18 wheelers years ago. Sprang a leak while on the Pa Turnpike and another old driver told me to ask the kitchen help at the restaurant if I could have some. Told her what the problem was and she gave me a part of one of their cans (bigger than you would buy for home use). I put it in my radiator and sun of a gun that old driver was right. I don't remember the shop ever repairing that leak. Keith
