Also, there should be a VAC and serial number stamped into the casting right where the two sectionsclutch housing and crankcase joinright behind the air cleaner. There is on my SC CASE and DC CASE.. I amazes me when someone at a tractor show claims that a case tractor is a certain year.they have changed the serial number plate. Yet they dont know that this serial number is stamped there. That had better be the same number! Subtract 4 from the last digit and will give year of manufacture
